FUNDRAISING

Political Action Committees (PACs) are organized for the purpose of raising and distributing money to help elect candidates seeking political offices. Our PACs support candidates that champion credit unions. Your PAC contributions allow us to have a greater impact by pooling money with other contributors to support candidates at the state and federal levels. You can contribute to the New Mexico Credit Union PAC (NM CUPAC) or the America’s Credit Union PAC, or both.

NM PAC

The NM CUPAC is the state PAC that raises and spends money on candidates for state offices. CUANM is available to help you sign up to contribute by making a one-time contribution or authorizing payroll deductions. If you’re interested in contributing, please contact us.

AMERICA'S CREDIT UNIONS PAC

Before America's Credit Unions or CUANM can share information about the PAC and how your credit union and you can participate in our efforts, federal law requires that your credit union grant America's Credit Unions PAC “prior approval” each calendar year by signing a permission agreement. The permission agreement can be found here. If you’re interested in contributing or finding out if your credit union has an active permission agreement, please contact us.
