Credit union volunteers read a book promoting financial literacy to classrooms across the state in April, and it was a huge success! This year we had 16 participating credit unions, with credit union volunteers visiting 660 classrooms. We were able to read to 18,496 students and provide curriculum to their classrooms to further promote financial literacy. These numbers were a huge improvement on last year and show the growth and commitment of New Mexico credit unions to the cause!
